11:30am Poison Ivory «Yes, But Where Is The Sex?»
This lecture style class is run by our reigning Queen of Burlesque. Join her in a discussion of tips and tricks on how to boost your performance by bringng more vulnerablility to the table. This class is great for any style of performer, not just burlesque.
— 12:30pm Ruby Moon «Roaring 20s Charleston»
In this workshop you will learn a super fun high energy Charleston routine. Even those with no dance experience can have an amazing time learning this choreography because it's broken down into easily digested parts. Dressing up in 20s fashions is encouraged!
— 1:30pm Lola Frost «Beginner Floorwork»
Strength and fluidity, ownership and raw power. The suggestive nature of floor work is not only powerful and primal but adds another level of stage to your performances. This movement class prepares your strength, control and stamina for the basic elements needed to incorporate floor work into your numers or even exercise regiments. *Not recommended for students with knee troubles, knee pads recommended for all students
— 2:30pm Pastel Supernova «Heels and Hair!»
Take this class for a hot routine where all the sexiness stems from working your hair. Whip it, spin it and werk it. Bring your high heels and & learn a sexy routine to hone in on your skills.
— 3:30pm Kage Wolfe «Dance and Choerography»
Dance class with a mini lecture about the universal concepts of choreographing. This is an all levels workshop for beginners to pros. This class will teach dance, what the dance can mean, and how to not just do it but perform it. And of course, how to find the time to tease.
The classes are being run in the Combatives Room on the second floor of the Carleton Athletics building.
