The European Union and the Canadian Film Institute are proud to present the 4th edition of the European Union Short Film Festival and Tastes of Europe, an occasion for you to sample the sights, sounds and flavours of the European Union.
This year’s festival takes place from June 2nd to the 4th at the Arts Court Theatre, 2 Daly Ave. Entry is free, doors open at 6.30pm, and the audience is invited to sample food and drinks presented by Tastes of Europe. The screenings start at 7pm.
Join us for an eclectic and engaging presentation of 22 short films from 22 Member States of the European Union. These short features range from drama, comedy, documentary, and animation, and are presented under the following themes:
Friday, JUNE 2: Seeing is believing
A selection of diverse films that question how we see and what we see. This screening is not suitable for children.
Saturday JUNE 3: Generations of Love
There are many forms of and stories about love; here are some of them. This screening is not suitable for children
Sunday, JUNE 4: Playtime
The joy and magic, and sometimes the risk, of play. This screening is suitable for ages 10 and up.

Each film will be presented in its original language with English sub-titles.
Note the screening on Sunday, June 4th is suitable for ages 10 and up. All other screenings are not suitable for children.
