Hans is a classical dressage coach with over 20 years of experience who has been recognized by the Heritage Registry of Who's Who for his contribution to the equestrian world — go to this link to see his write-up: theheritagewhoswho.com/index.php?option=com_sobi2&sobi2Task=sobi2Details&sobi2Id=3993&Itemid=4.
Hans combines German riding principles with French traditional training of «legerete» as well as the principles of bio-mechanics in his teaching. He also teaches jumping — after all — «it is simply dressage with obstacles».
The clinic will run over two and a half days providing you with ample riding opportunities. For example, you may take 1, 2 or 3 lessons over the weekend. In addition, Friday evening will include a theory session (see below) with a potluck dinner starting at 6 p.m.
***Theory *** (open to the public at a cost of $20; FREE for registered auditors and riders).
Hans will be explaining the foundation of his teachings and WHY he asks you to do something in particular in your lesson. Hans has amassed a wealth of knowledge over the years about the bio-mechanics of the horse and rider and how they work together and so much more. He has a lot to share with us to help us improve our riding and our relationship with our horse(s) (or the horse(s) we ride).
1 ride = $120 includes the theory session (includes HST)
2 rides = $115/ride includes the theory session (includes HST)
3 rides = $110/ride includes the theory session (includes HST)
Clinic Auditors — $35/day or $50/weekend (includes Theory Session)
Lunch is available for $10/day.
