Celebrating music from Indian cinema for a great cause!!!
CineMusiq ‘Octane’ is an attempt to bring all South Asian music lovers under one roof for a good cause. CineMusiq has raised over $6000 since it started 7 years ago. In the past CineMusiq worked with The Canadian Diabetes Association, The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), The Ontario Kidney Foundation and The Cancer Foundation.

CineMusiq is very happy to join hands once again with the Canadian Cancer Society.
Music for cause will be a colourful event with songs in 6 different languages (Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Sanskrit and dances of different styles from South and North India.

Padma Shri K.S.Chitra: CineMusiq ‘Octane’ is very proud and honoured to host 6-time Indian national award winner Padma Shri K.S.Chitra – 1st time in Ottawa, Canada. Padma Shri K.S.Chitra had sung over 25,000 songs in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, and Punjabi to name a few.

K.S. Chitra will be accompanied by West Orchestra lead by John Sathya featuring Flute Siva, Raphael Weinroth-Browne and Super Singer fame Selva all the way from India.
