Celebrate all things bacon during Baconpalooza at the Farm in the heart of the city. Go hog wild for the food trucks, and beer and cocktail tents, and squeal in delight at the smoking and barbeque demonstrations and live entertainment on both Saturday, and live entertainment on Sunday. Also be sure to check out The Market, where you’ll be able to bring home the bacon!

Friday- August 25, 2017– Bacon Bash! (maximum 200 people)
(6 p.m. to 11 p.m.)
Enjoy an evening of bacon under the stars at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum. Take part in picnic style “bacon stuffed whole hog dinner” prepared by Ottawa’s own Chef Mike McKenzie from Seed to Sausage General Store, and take in some sizzling cooking demos with Chef Lynn Crawford from Food Network Canada 's Chopped. Kick up your heels and dance off those bacon treats with live music from Bang On The Ear!

Saturday August 26, 2017 (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) – Sunday August 27, 2017 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
A full weekend celebrating all things bacon! Arrive early on Sunday for a free bacon breakfast sponsored by The Albion Rooms (while quantities last), and be sure to explore the Market for all your bacon needs- from soap to stationary! Check out interactive foodie demonstrations from our celebrity chefs, sample some craft beers and speciality cocktails. ‘Pig out’ on the special offerings from the food trucks while enjoying live music and family friendly entertainment!

Kids Zone: Tons of fun for piglets of all ages! Children can learn all about pigs through fun crafts, story time, face painting and much more!
