This year's event focuses on the experiences of Indigenous and racialized women in Canada and the importance of their place in the feminist movement. We will shine the spotlight on sex discrimination in the Indian Act and Bill S-3 as well as the intersection of race and feminism on issues like sexual assault.
We are delighted to feature Sharon McIvor, as our keynote speaker and have Professor Rakhi Ruparelia offering introductory comments.
Between 7:00 and 7:30 AM, guests can arrive and register, and the formal program will begin at 7:30 AM.
