You are cordially invited to a remarkable printmaking show «Pressed/Presse'» at Galerie La Fab (October 12th to October 29th) open Thursday's through Sunday's. In memory and to honour Leonard Gerbrandt's many years as a devoted and influential teacher and passionate printmaker, the Ottawa School of Art established the Bourse de Gravure Leonard Gerbrandt Printmaking Scholarship in 2011 (Leonard died in a tragic accident on October 16th, 2010). With this exhibition, La Fab and the Ottawa School of art are honouring Leonard Gerbrandt and celebrating the six scholarship recipients — Melissa Blackman (2012), Louise Butler (2013), Delphine Sullivan (2014), Laurence Finet (2015), Julie Mercantini (2016), and Kathryn Ehret (2017). We hope you are able to attend the vernissage to meet the artists on October 12th from 5:00 to 7:00 at Galerie La Fab, 212 Chemin Old Chelsea (819-827-3326), Chelsea, PQ. Louise Butler and Julie Mercantini will give an artist's talk on Thursday, October 19th from 6:00 to 9:00!
