Hailing from Winnipeg, Zac studied at the University of Ottawa under the tutelage of Jonathan Wade and Kenneth Simpson (of Bangers and Smash fame), and has worked with the National Arts Centre Orchestra | l'Orchestre du Centre national des Arts, Ottawa Symphony Orchestra — L'Orchestre symphonique d'Ottawa, Orchestre symphonique de Gatineau, Thirteen Strings Chamber Orchestra, Ottawa Choral Society, Seventeen Voyces, The Chamber Players of Canada and the The Ottawa Baroque Consort / Le Consort baroque d'Ottawa among many others.
Based in Ottawa, Nick studied at the University of Ottawa under the tutelage of Stephane Lemelin and David Jalbert, and has participated in chamber music festivals in Paris, Toronto, Halifax, and St. John's. Past concerto appearances have included works by Rachmaninov, Frédéric Chopin, Serge Prokofieff, Ravel, and Bach, and in operatic performances including Bizet's Carmen, Mozart's Magic Flute and Don Giovanni, and The Telephone by Gian Carlo Menotti. He also accompanies the vocal studios of Maghan McPhee, Wanda Procyshyn, Cara Gilbertson-Boese, and Kim Schonning, as well as the Ottawa Children's Choir, the Canadian Centennial Choir, and the University of Ottawa Choir / Chorale de l'Université d'Ottawa.
