A climate solutions film by Academy Award winning filmmaker Charles Ferguson, TIME TO CHOOSE is a hopeful and empowering film that leaves audiences understanding not only what is wrong, but what needs to be done to fix it.

6:00 pm: Food is served (plates and utensils provided)
6:30 pm: Seated, English-language film screening (1h 40 mins)
8:20 — 9:00 pm: A Q&A provided by the film makers will help guide a discussion following the film.

Green Screen is a city-wide grassroots initiative organized by local Ottawa residents, with support from Ecology Ottawa, to engage our communities on climate change action. Through a series of film screenings in wards throughout the city, Green Screen strives to inspire local action on global issues, and show that by working on climate change in our own backyard we can have an impact on one of the world’s most pressing issues.

We hope that by engaging others through the films and subsequent discussions, we can build a community of people in Ottawa who are ready to participate in climate action locally, such as election campaigns to build a greener and more progressive city council. We aim to bring like minded Ottawa residents together.
