About the instructor:
With an interest in Latin dancing for as long as he could remember, Darnell started taking salsa lessons in 2009 and never looked back. What started off as a personal challenge to discover his artistic side turned into a passion, as he transitioned from dancer, to performer, and ultimately a teacher and choreographer.
Darnell draws upon influences not only from latin dance, but has also studied international ballroom and dabbled in other dance styles. His experiences attending various congresses and taking workshops taught by instructors from around the world has helped him not only hone his dance technique, but also discover different teaching styles which helps him adapt to the unique needs of each student.
